A New Approach to Alcohol Prevention
Delta Zeta Sorority joined with hundreds of colleges and Greek organizations nationwide in taking a new approach to alcohol prevents called AlcoholEdu  which is a science-based course that educates students about alcohol and its effects on teh mind and body. The statistics citing the consequences of alcohol abuse among college students are staggering. But the statistics about the program are heartening. AlcoholEdu offers a program which is a confidential, personalized experience for each student. A survery of nearly 300,000 students who had taken the course found that 53% said the course would change the way they use alcohol, 40% said they had previously underestimated their levels of intoxication, and 84% felt the program was helpful!
